About Rebecca

I believe aging is not something women need to fight or fear. It can be a season of becoming stronger, more grounded, more confident, and more connected to ourselves.

For more than 25 years, I have worked in the health, fitness, and wellness field, helping women build strength, improve their health, and feel more confident in their bodies. Today, my work is especially focused on women 50+ who want to embrace aging while continuing to feel strong, capable, active, and supported in this stage of life.

I discovered Pilates in 2012 through private one-on-one training and immediately fell in love with the method. I experienced how intentional movement could improve not only strength, flexibility, posture, and balance, but also body awareness, confidence, and overall well-being.

That experience inspired me to pursue comprehensive Pilates teacher training, completing more than 500 hours of education across the major Pilates apparatus, movement principles, and techniques.

Today, as a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), I specialize in personalized, one-on-one Pilates instruction. I value the opportunity to truly get to know the woman in front of me—her body, her goals, her history, her concerns, and what matters most to her now.

My approach is not about trying to turn back the clock. It is about helping women move forward with strength.

Together, we can focus on the things that become increasingly important as we age: maintaining strength and muscle, improving balance and mobility, supporting posture, moving with greater ease, and building confidence in what our bodies can still do.

I want women to feel empowered in their bodies, not discouraged by the changes that come with aging. My goal is to help each woman develop a stronger relationship with her body and feel supported as she moves through this season of life.

My work also extends beyond Pilates.

I am a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), a Professional Food Addiction Coach, and a CDC Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach.

Through health coaching, I help women look at the whole picture of their well-being. Depending on your goals, we may explore movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, daily routines, and the habits that support long-term health.

Health coaching is not about perfection. It is about creating realistic, sustainable changes that fit your life and help you feel more intentional about your health.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education in Health, Sport, and Exercise Science from the University of Kansas.

You can choose to work with me through Pilates, health coaching, or a combination of both. My goal is to create an experience that feels personal, supportive, and appropriate for your body, your goals, and your stage of life.

I am especially passionate about helping women embrace aging with greater confidence—not by trying to become younger, but by becoming stronger, steadier, healthier, and more fully themselves.

Outside of my work, I enjoy healthy cooking, long bike rides along the Johnson County trails, quiet time for reflection, and attending live theater throughout Kansas City.

If you are ready to invest in your strength, health, and well-being for the years ahead, I would love to connect with you.
