About Rebecca

I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, where I worked for 20 years in the health and fitness industry as a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor.

I discovered Pilates in 2012 and immediately fell in love with the method. Starting with private lessons, I quickly realized how transformative Pilates could be—not only for improving flexibility, strength, and balance, but also for enhancing posture, focus, and overall well-being. That discovery inspired me to pursue comprehensive teacher training, completing over 500 hours of education across all major Pilates apparatus and techniques.

Today, as a Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor (NCPT), I view Pilates as the gold standard in mindful movement and body conditioning. My teaching focuses on precision, body awareness, and functional strength, empowering my clients to move with greater ease, confidence, and vitality.

In addition to teaching Pilates, I’m also a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC), a Professional Food Addiction Coach, and a CDC Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach. Through health coaching, I help clients create a clear vision for their well-being—setting meaningful goals and making sustainable changes in areas such as nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education in Health, Sport, and Exercise Science from the University of Kansas.

You can choose to focus on Pilates, health coaching, or combine both in customized programs designed to support your unique goals and stage of life. My passion is helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more balanced—inside and out.

Outside of work, I love experimenting with healthy new recipes, taking long bike rides on the Johnson County trails, and attending live theater performances at many of Kansas City’s excellent theater venues.

I’d love to connect with you and learn more about your health and well-being goals.
